Essex Linen is a classic fabric from Robert Kaufman made from a cotton linen blend.

Kaufman Essex Yarn Dyed Linen is the yarn-dyed version of its classic. The yarns are dyed before weaving which creates a two-toned textured visual effect, similar to chambray.

Both have a natural texture with a soft hand and light to medium weight that’s versatile for many projects. It’s breathable and easy to sew, making it great for apparel like shirts, lightweight trousers and shorts, dresses, and lightweight lined jackets; as well as quilts and home décor.
